Transparency around cost and process matters. This page is here to give you a clear picture of what to expect financially, how sessions work logistically, and answers to the questions that come up most often before someone decides to reach out. If something isn't covered here, you're always welcome to bring it to the consultation.
Therapy at this level is not a generic service. It draws on years of advanced clinical training in trauma, identity, and relational work, alongside ongoing consultation, professional development, and the kind of presence that only comes from doing this work with genuine commitment.
Beyond the session itself, time goes into treatment planning, documentation, coordination of care, and staying current in the modalities that make this work effective. The fee accounts for all of it.
A structured 3-hour session for focused trauma processing using IFS and EMDR.
Individual therapy and parent coaching sessions. The standard session format for ongoing weekly work.
Choosing not to bill insurance directly is an intentional decision that protects your privacy and your care. When insurance is involved, a mental health diagnosis becomes part of your permanent medical record and insurers can influence treatment decisions, including how often you're seen and for how long. Paying privately means your therapy remains confidential, your treatment is guided entirely by your needs, and there are no external limitations on the depth or pace of the work.
That said, many clients are able to use out-of-network benefits to offset the cost. If you have a PPO plan, your provider may reimburse a portion of each session. After every appointment I can provide a superbill, a detailed receipt you submit to your insurance company directly.
Your first session focuses on getting to know you more fully and beginning to shape a path forward together. From there, we collaborate on what format and frequency feels most supportive for where you are.
Before your first session, you'll complete any remaining consent forms and practice policies through the Jane portal. Everything is handled securely and at your own pace.
If we decide to move forward, we'll schedule your first session together. This is a 90-minute intake where we go deeper into your history, patterns, and what feels most pressing right now.
We'll spend 15 minutes talking about what you're looking for, answering any questions you have, and getting a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit. There is no pressure and no commitment required.
Book a free 15-minute consultation directly through the Jane App using the scheduling link on this site. You'll receive a confirmation email and any necessary forms automatically after booking.
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. In-person sessions take place in my office in Newtown, PA, while virtual sessions are conducted through a secure telehealth platform.
I am currently licensed to provide therapy in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, which means I can work with clients who are physically located in either state during their session.
Yes. I maintain a small number of reduced-rate spots available at $80 per session. These spaces are limited and offered based on availability. If cost is a barrier, you’re welcome to share this during the consultation so we can explore options together.
I do not bill insurance companies directly. However, many clients are able to use their out-of-network (OON) benefits to receive partial reimbursement for therapy. If you have a PPO plan, your insurance provider may reimburse a portion of the session cost.
After each session, I can provide a superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Because every plan is different, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
If navigating this process feels confusing, I’m happy to help walk you through what questions to ask.
